Aftermarket Car Stereo Repair

Aftermarket car stereos refer to the band name car stereos sold and installed into the vehicle by local stereo shops.

Aftermarket car stereo is one of our major lines of repair. We work on aftermarket car stereos of any make. We are the factory authorized service depot for Alpine, Pioneer, Phoenix Gold, and Panasonic. The following makes are the most common makes we have repaired in the past.

We can repair car stereo problems on the bench or in the vehicle. If you have the stereo removed from the vehicle, please bring it to our shop during business hours. No appointment is necessary. After our technician check the stereo, we will let you know first the problem and cost to repair for you to decide. If you are willing to go ahead, we will proceed to repair it and call you to pickup when the repair is done. We have wiring harnesses and testing jigs required to service car stereos in the shop, so you don't have to remove or cut the wiring harness from the vehicle when you remove the stereo. Just UNPLUG the wiring harnesses and the cables and bring in the deck itself. Some stereos require a add-on to perform the basic function, e.g. a hide-away unit (Pioneer AVIC-N2) or a tuner box (Pioneer AVH-P5200BT). In this case, that add-on and the connecting cable have to be brought in as well. If you are not sure about your model, please contact us first.

If you require us to work in your vehicle, please contact us first to make appointment. Some car stereo problems have to be trouble shoot in the vehicle. Others can be diagnosed on the bench. If you are not sure, please contact us first to determine. Manufacturer’s warranty covers the repair on the stereo but not the work in the vehicle.

For out of town customers, you can mail the stereo to us for service. Please remember to enclose your complete contact information and detailed description of the problem. Other procedures are the same as carry-in. We accept payment by credit card (VISA, M/C, AMEX) over the phone or paypal. We will ship the unit back to you when the repair is done. If you have a shipping account we can put collect, please inform us beforehand, or we will use Canada Post and charge you for the shipping. When you pack the unit, please put enough cushioning materials surround the unit, and put extra protection for the face plate or screen.
